Why Flicker Candle Co?
All our products are handmade in small batches, all our home fragrance products are made to order, just for you! A little TLC goes into every product.
Where are you?
Flicker Candle Co is based in Gippsland, Victoria.
Fragrance Vs Essential Oil?
At Flicker Candle Co, we primarily use fragrance oils, because they are especially formulated for our products. Essential oils can be tricky and unpredictable to work with, and not all of them are safe to burn in your home. Also, essential oils can be quite pricey, using fragrance means we can keep our prices down.
What are your ingredients like?
Our candles are made with soy wax and fragrance oil, with a cotton wick. Our body products have the best, natural ingredients, see individual listings for further details.
Recyclability?
Due to current events, we are unable to refill candles at this point, however it is something that we will look at in the future. However, our candle jars are perfect vases and jewelry jars.
Can I change my order?
We get to making pretty quick, so if you need to change or cancel your order, please contact us within 24 hours of placing your order.
Shipping
We ship via Australia Post. Buyer assumes all responsibility for shipping costs & fees, including shipping insurance if requested (please e-mail to request).
Please confirm your address prior to ordering as Flicker Candle Co is not responsible for packages delivered to an incorrect, closed or undeliverable address. If your package is undeliverable and is ‘returned to sender’, Flicker Candle Co is not responsible for any shipping charges or fees. Re-delivery is at the cost of the buyer.
Please be aware that Flicker Candle Co is not responsible for delayed transit times once your order leaves the workshop. We have no control over transit times once packages are given to Australia Post. Should your package become delayed or lost, a claim will need to be filed with Australia Post.
Damages
Your order is adequately packaged with handling + transit in mind! While we do take care when packaging your order, damages can happen. If your order arrives in an unusable state, please contact me at flickercandlecoaus@gmail.com with a photo of the damaged product + shipping box (if applicable) within 48 hours of receiving. A damage claim will be filed with the shipping carrier and we will work together to find a solution to your damaged product.
Variations
Our products are made by hand using natural ingredients, so variations are expected. Each and every product we make is carefully inspected before heading to your doorstep.
Changes in temperature can cause the tops of candles to melt slightly and create an interesting texture. This is normal for soy wax. It does not affect the way the candle burns.

Yep! Let us know in the notes section at checkout and we’ll include it with your order.
